Ye Jin Yang practices art focusing on personal inner worlds such as emotions, memories, dream worlds, desires, and identity. All of the works are describing the themes through a metaphor with a symbol or an abstract representation. She is experimenting with diverse art mediums: watercolour, acrylics, and oils, and providing a sense of discovery of the human internal world by employing a colourful and bright palette and occasionally using muted tone. She creates a representation of various moments of human emotions that people feel in their lives using various colours and imagery to build the atmosphere that fits a theme. In her work, she seeks to communicate and share her personal experiences with her viewers to recall their own experiences similar to hers.
